Last night, from my living room window, I saw the most amazing moon with its beautiful, sparkling reflection shimmering on the sea at the harbour mouth so I grabbed my camera and dashed outside.
What the photo unfortunately doesn't show is the heron that was standing quietly on the beach until it saw me coming and flew off, silhouetted briefly by the sparkling water. Absolutely stunning!
