This blog started as a year long project to post a photo taken in the Aberdeenshire village of Johnshaven every day for a year. Having completed all 366 postings, I'm going to keep adding the occasional photo. All comments are very welcome. If you see anything on here that is factually inaccurate, please feel free to put me right!

372. Beach Art
Yesterday evening my daughter and I went for a walk along the beach. She found a piece of charcoal and started drawing on stones and before long we had created a small stoney woodland.
It rained heavily this morning so I imagine there's just a row of blank stones there now!
Beach art is fun to make and great to stumble across. Give it a go :)

OOOh I love it - your charcoal tree forest....the idea of beach art and stumbling across it.
ReplyDeleteThe curve of the sea shaped bank is impressive!
Thought the concept of the rain rinsing the patterns on the stones is a bit like felting when your carefully placed fluffy details transform after the application of water!
